Awareness Bodywork, LLC assists others in becoming aware of and feeling the potential of their highest physical & emotional self through bodywork. With the intentions of peace and freedom in movement, sessions are tailored for each client. What matters to you? Your session will work to achieve just that!
Along with hands-on, soft tissue work, sessions may also include education about movement disfunction and how the body is all connected. Working a hip flexor may just be what the low back pain needs, as an example.
LMT Karen Gill has a passion to help others. A 2023 graduate from Blue Sky School of Professional Massage & Therapeutic Bodywork and a receiver of bodywork for over 3 decades, Karen uses her training and intuition to help her clients feel their best. Her therapeutic massage may include myofacial release, neuromuscular therapy, active release, lymphatic drainage and more!
Karen is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, receives continuing education and carries liability insurance. WI license number 17330-146
When not learning more about massage techniques, Karen can be found enjoying walks in the woods with her dog Cosmo, swimming in most bodies of water, eating ethnic foods, traveling and connecting with friends.

Hot stone therapy is a specialty massage that uses smooth, flat, heated basalt stones that are positioned along your spine and in the palms of your hands. Hot stones are also used to massage the muscles, using heat to help soften tissues and promote healing. An excellent choice for deep relaxation or for those who like a lot of heat and a little more pressure.

Lymphatic drainage massage is a type of massage therapy that may help to relieve swelling that occurs when medical treatment or poor health causes blockages to the lymphatic system. This is the part of the body that protects us from infection and disease. Lymphatic massage helps to open the lymph system and move fluid to help it dissipate from the body. Please note, this massage is light touch with repetitive strokes.

Reiki is designed to promote healing and balance in the body, mind, and spirit. Reiki uses a gentle touch or hands are held slightly above the body to channel healing energy to the recipient through the Chakra System. Reiki sessions can help release emotions and create a feeling of peace and contentment.

Hot, melted paraffin wax is used as a bath in which to dip hands, feet or elbows to add moisture and softness to the skin.
Paraffin wax can help alleviate dry skin and can help to relieve swollen joints and painful muscles.
